SimonInfinity Continues to Scale at Senior Level with New Operations Director

Infinity, today announced the appointment of Simon Blackburn as its Operations Director. The newly created role follows hot on the heels of other recent senior-level appointments, including Stuart Sutton as COO to whom Blackburn will report.

An experienced senior manager with solid customer service credentials, Blackburn joins Infinity from THUS where he was Service Director. Reporting to the Managing Director and part of the THUS executive management team, he was accountable for the management of all run-rate revenue streams plus end-to-end service and support to all customers.

His extensive experience of running large, multi-site, multi-disciplined service organisations and providing business critical services to large blue chip fits entirely with the approach at Infinity.”

During his 12 year tenure at THUS, working with customers in the telecommunications, IT and finance sectors, Blackburn built and developed an ITIL-based, single service organisation that successfully scaled to meet a 400 per cent growth in customer network connections in under a year. Notably, he successfully re-engineered the organisation and its processes to enable the deployment of a CRM platform that would become the backbone of its future growth.
