eunetwors_news_post7 January 2015 – euNetworks has deployed a critical Connectivity Hub at Infinity Slough enabling Infinity customers to access euNetworks dc connect – London metro service.

Creation of this connectivity hub at Infinity Slough provides customers with instant, scalable European connectivity. dc connect provides Infinity’s customers with instant bandwidth via pre-deployed optical equipment, enabling high speed bandwidth connections to data centres and the other key sites across London and Europe. As a result, dc connect is helping to retain London’s position as a leading technology hub by delivering a reliable, scalable and efficient solution to benefit Infinity’s customers.

This also means that other Infinity data centre locations will be connected to euNetworks, a leading European bandwidth infrastructure provider. This move further strengthens Infinity’s connectivity services ensuring that customers have access to the agile and flexible connectivity services required to respond to the opportunities and challenges of the cloud era.

euNetworks has recently invested £8 million in pre-deploying the high bandwidth infrastructure that supports dc connect to help retain the city’s position as a leading technology hub. euNetworks is one of the few providers in the London market that owns and operates its fibre based network, meaning the company controls service level performance and is able to offer competitive rates.

” We invest in our network to provide high bandwidth scalable connections. Infinity understands that data centre connectivity infrastructure is critically important to businesses today and we are delighted to partner with Infinity in offering the agility and flexibility customers need in response to dynamic market conditions and cost efficiencies.”

Brady Rafuse, CEO of euNetworks

Stuart Sutton, CEO of Infinity SDC, says, “This is an exciting partnership for Infinity. Businesses have an insatiable appetite for connectivity and require a high speed scalable service. As a result data centres are seeing an increased demand for bandwidth across the metro areas. Being a partner of euNetworks will allow Infinity to offer the best connectivity to our customers. This provides them the reach, diversity and capacity they need to meet their rapidly changing needs such as virtualisation, big data and the cloud.

“High speed digital connectivity is now a core part of London’s competitive advantage and for it to remain an attractive location for businesses, it is essential that we continue to invest in the communications infrastructure and form valuable partnerships to ensure we are providing the best possible services for our customers.”
